An international expansion strategy based on a global offering with local teams
For the past three years, Bilendi has created a global offering for digital services for the market research sector, with proprietary panels in 11 European countries and several international partners. The group has also expanded its technological innovations, particularly with regard to mobile telephone surveys and solutions for gauging the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns.
In early 2015, Bilendi accelerated its growth in Northern Europe (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland) by acquiring one of the local market leaders, M3 Research. It has also strengthened its position in the United Kingdom by acquiring the access panel activities of Springboard UK.
Today, Bilendi has more than two million panellists in 11 of the major European countries and eight sales offices in Europe.
Bilendi opens a new German office in Cologne
With a presence in Berlin since 2010 and a current team of some 20 employees, Bilendi today announces the opening of a new office in Cologne thereby strengthening its coverage of the German market.
Bilendi has one of the largest access panels in the German market with more than 250,000 active panellists, in addition to 20,000 panellists in Austria and 50,000 in Switzerland.
With such a unique asset, the new office will help accelerate the group’s growth in Germany, which is the second- largest survey market in Europe.
Strengthening the German teams
To support this expansion, Bilendi is also strengthening its teams in Germany. The group is delighted to announce the appointment of Andreas Knappstein as Sales Director in the DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Andreas Knappstein will be responsible for sales in all German-speaking countries.
He has ten years’ experience of digital services for the market research sector, having been Sales Director for Respondi AG, Managing Director of Liveloop GmbH and Large Account Manager with Questback GmbH (formerly GlobalPark AG).
